Rockfon alaska square edge. Dimensions - 1200x600x15mm. 14 per box.Rockfon Alaska combines a smooth white surface with good properties in the areas of acoustics, fire safety and humidity resistance. This is the ceiling tile to choose when you want a good standard ceiling construction with good sound absorption. Acoustics- Sound absorption data has been measured in accordance with ISO 354. Sound absorption data alpha p, alpha w and ISO class in accordance with ISO 11654. Noise Reduction Coefficien (NRC) is calculated in accordance with ASTM C423. Fire performance- General: Alaska is made from 100% pure stone wool which can withstand more than 1000°C for longer than 120 minutes without melting. Reaction to fire: Class A1 in accordance with BS EN 13501-1. Fire protection: Alaska A-edge can be used to create a 30 minutes fire protection ceiling in accordance with BS 476 Part 21 and Part 23. These tiles can also be used to create a 30 minutes fire protecting membrane ceiling (integrity only) in accordance with BS 476 Part 22. Humidity resistance and dimensional stability (Flexural tensile strength) Rockfon ceiling tiles are dimensionally stable, even at humidity levels of up to 100% RH. As the humidity inside a building has no influence on Rockfon ceiling tiles, the ceiling can be installed at all temperatures ranging from 0ºC to 40ºC, and no acclimatisation is necessary. Rockfon ceiling tiles retain their superior properties even in infrequently heated and unheated rooms. However, in accordance with best practice building design, precautions should be taken to avoid condensation risks. Alaska is predominantly classified as class 1/C/0N in accordance with BE EN 13964. However, certain module sizes are class 2/C/0N. Light reflection- Rockfon White 87% diffuse light reflection according to DIN 5036 Part 3 (Alaska with A-edge) and iSO 7724-2 (Alaska with E-edge).
